Has anyone considered running it at 5v? That's really what most of those logic chips want. I don't see higher voltages being in any way necessary. Rather have a thing that works 100% instead of worrying about chips frying all the time. I have no interest in doing a total clone, as long are functions are similar and it sounds weird.
