Good evening gentleman,
This http://stompboxes.co.uk/forum/viewtopic ... 54&t=14673
...is attached.
I cant see one resistor value (marked as ?), Phibes thinks it's 47k... We'll wait, we'll see
I think "level" pot is 47k, but I'm not sure what taper, can be log... fuck knows
Attack pot stays unseen, but what else it can be other than 1k lin?
Anyway, it's just a twicked TB MK1,5/Fuzz Face

I'm not sure 47uF - IMO it's regular 22uF here, but just in another wrapping.
Rest looks good!

HA....i cant stand them. The YYs are always too thick and I cant get pots to stay in em well. Sure I could order different pots, but thats aggravating.sinner wrote:Yeah, pedalenclosures.com is the hottest shit on the plane

It's just a pots bro
YY's are coolio, I wish Mike will make them twice as wide as they are right now one day
The new one looks cool, the big ones, the only ones I never had... yet... I wonder do they're big enough to fit CE-1 Chorus replica board Im working on - this type of enclosure would be perfect for chorus ensemble repro project
Anyway, talk to Mike, he's really great person

Ha! I've bought some time ago FF on DAM forum and replaced guts one of Your boards and NKT213 and NKT214 combosinner wrote:where did you get that silver FF enclosure you dirty slut?!
But I've sold it foolishly to some guy in Japan
This was one of Cornell reissue I think - much better quality than dunlop boxes.

I put a tonebender pro MK II into one of those YY's and used the usual alpha pots with no issues, yeah they are thick and beefy and my only issues with the YY's is getting my step drill bit to cut thru all that metal.
I found the best method of course are the pilot holes 1st then use the step drill bit to get your final size. Pots stay on fine for me

Sinner, my dear boy - it might be worth contacting Denis Cornell (at http://www.dc-developments.com) as he might just have a few FF cases spare - and here (though I've told this tale elsewhere) is the reason why I think he could have some:beedotman wrote: This was one of Cornell reissue I think
Denis was forced to stop making FFs by the nasty lawyers at Dunlop, even though Arbiter had given Denis the rights to the FF design. Unfortunately, Denis's company is too small to take on the giants, so he ceased FF production. That's why I think it just might be possible that he could have a few cases left over. It's worth asking him anyway. He's a great guy and very helpful.
As a consequence of the nasty Dunlop people, Denis now builds the First Fuzz (FF - clever, eh) which, you guessed it, is the same FF circuit but in a different box.
If you get to speak to him, please pass on my regards (I used to work one day a week for him some years back).

I used to build Fuzz Face and call it Fuzz Cafe (cafe is anagram of face) - how clever is that?
I wish I would contact him, but sadly Im just in process of changing my job :/
