This might answer your question:

I wouldn't be surprised if this flanger was made by Maxon. The circuit board has that Ibanez look about it.

You sure? ;)
viewtopic.php?f=1&t=18787&p=227693#p227693 shows far more similarities on the source.

You would know Dirk.....you are the Ibanez/Maxon man!

So....who do you think manufactured all of the variations in the effects database link?

I am really afraid to speculate on that.
Maxon has, in alll their designs, a very specific signature. Looking at these boxes schems, combined with googling, does not show any of these signatures. Other than that, for all Ibanez branded products Maxon never made a secret of being behind the design. I have a hard time believing that a manufactured changes everything in their basic design when being asked to produce a line under a different brand. The outside, soit, but everything at the inside as well? Circuitwise, constructionwise... :hmmm:

Now, Japan has had multiple manufacturers of these kind of products that did surface (or not) under their own name as well as under any name the customer requires. The Washburn boxes that relate to this puppy evidently show such an example. Shin_Ei is another of these manufacturers.

In a similar manner Coron has often been mentioned as being made by Maxon. Many Coron's seem to originate straight from a vintage Japanese Effects book.

(Although this may just as well be the other way around)

So, as pure guessing when asked to name a brand as possible contestant if not Maxon, I''d think of Guyatone. But I may be just as well off as with the Maxon suggestion.
