I'm liquidating my vintage EH collection after 25 yrs of collecting. I've made a list here and I welcome you to make a fair offer on any item(s) you find interesting. Please email me with your offers as it's quicker for me to respond.

If that's the real Vincent Gallo buying a load, then that's cool. He's a dude.

You've obviously never had to deal with him.

I could beat you there Boris... but I idn't see a price for an Instant Replay.

Other than that those prices are in the high regions of what I usually see this stuff go for and therefore consider average. In other word: If mr Neeley taxes em at these prices... price just went up!
Sorry. Plain out of planes.

Really? I priced what I could based on what I saw them sell for on ebay. I'm open to offers on anything.

Apparently, Dirk has a Pedal Oak in his backyard. Every day, he goes out and picks a vintage pedal from the tree... FOR FREE!

Then, he goes back to his computer and sells it online at the "Pedals for Pennies" site! :horsey:

I say what I see. That is nowhere in the "for free" category, nor was it to critisize. Something Gvt Lacky seems to have incredible sensitive toes for ever since I did not award a certain PLL project with offering a blowjob.

As an example the average price I see a 5 knob DMM sell for is around 250 euro's. That does not convert to 400 usd. Nor does it convert to free or "few pennies".
Sorry. Plain out of planes.

Huh? PLL project?

And dont flatter yourself.... You are probably not that good! :slap:

You are right, it is about $340 dollars. But, knowing that Ron probably keeps his EH pedals pristine and in good working condition instead of the torn up, dinged, dented garbage that you normally see.... I think that the extra couple bucks is not unreasonable.

I was never the type of collector who insisted that everything be in pristine condition. As long as it worked and looked halfway decent, I was happy. Gallo didn't buy the entire collection because everything wasn't "museum quality".

At the time I was pricing the items $400 was an average sold price on ebay. Like I said before, I'm open to offers and if you're buying several pieces I'm more than happy to work something out.

Also, no offense to either of you, both of whom I respect, but please take your bickering elsewhere.

Same here, so back OT,

What, if you're willing to share, is the reason for suddenly abandoning a hobby that kept you occupied for years?

A couple of reasons:

1) I just got bored with it. I collected all this stuff for years but I never used any of it. Also, at some point it's nearly impossible to add to it.
2) I've been carrying a heavy credit card debt for years and I wanted to be rid of it. It's all paid off now (made the wife happy) and I still have a pretty good amount of stuff left.

I did use some of the money to buy a few instruments like an 1880s parlor guitar https://s717.photobucket.com/user/theeh ... r%20guitar and a vintage solid koa ukulele https://s717.photobucket.com/user/theeh ... %20Ukulele. Both are currently in the shop for some work, especially the parlor. I have an affinity for unusual vintage instruments. I also bought a tabletop CNC that I'm thinking about using to engrave pedal chassis.

That makes so much sense, but also somehow makes me kind of sad =) I love that you're willing to pass the stuff along despite not feeling it anymore. I know lots of people who get out of the hobby but just opt to hoard the stuff, never play it, and just kind of disappear from the community.
I think it's incredibly generous of you to let it back into the world.

While I don't mind having stuff I never use, the EH collection was just taking up too much room and seemed to be my best bet to get out of debt. I'm glad to see it go to people who will actually use it.

I wouldn't blame anyone for going straight to ebay next time and bypassing the nit-picking here.
