Digitech - Hardwire RV-7 Reverb... power supply

I have a relatively new Hardwire RV-7 Reverb pedal that has been working well for quite some time. Lately
it will not work on battery power. I've tried several new batteries all which tested well with no luck. The
pedal works fine on it's power adapter but not on battery.
I disassembled the pedal to see if the battery connection was the issue but it seems fine. The input jack
is also working to switch the 9V on when the input is connected... I'm at a loss so I'm wondering if someone
here can venture a guess at why it may not be working.
Is the A/C adapter plug on these units switched as well ? ..

I have had Boss pedals not work on battery due to a broken wire in side the part that snaps on the battery. If you have a digital multi-meter you can check continuity from the battery snap to the PCB. Just a thought.

On RV7 battery is connected over two jacks. First input jack connect the minus pole of battery
to GND and second DC jack, through break contact, connects + to the unit.
DC adapter must be pulled off to keep working through the battery.

I have checked the wires from the battery to the circuit board. These are good. There is power from the battery to the
board. I have also checked that the switch from the input is working. I verified that when the battery is connected and
the input jack inserted that power appears at the DC input jack. This is why I was wondering if perhaps the DC input
jack itself is switched so that when you plug in the power adapter it "disconnects" the battery.... Perhaps mine is stuck
open and so when I disconnect the power adapter, it is still open and no battery power is applied.

Sorry for posting a reply on this years old post, however I will pass along what I found wrong on my Digitech Hardwire Reverb.
Seems the DC jack on mine was bad. The spring switch inside the jack was no longer making contact to allow the battery
to power the unit. Replaced with a new dc jack and now works great.
Hope this helps anyone with the same problem.
