Not exactly. The term "Klone" means a copy of the Klon Centaur.

Have a look at this Shot.

The circuity around the IC at the top left indicates that the IC a switched capacitor voltage conveter such as 1044 or 7660 is.
All capacitors in the signal path are foil types and creamic types no electrolytes.
The clipping diodes are Germanium types.
The black one could be a 1N34 black glass diode

The original Klon has two 4.7uF electrlytics in the signal path, but this might be the case here, too.

According to the schematic posted here, the original Klon have two 1uF and one 4,7uF electrolytics in the signal path.

Anyway, that dual gang gain pot is another evidence that it's a Klone.

No, we are both right :D

Top left IC is a voltage converter such as 1044 or 7660. According to this schematic (viewtopic.php?f=14&t=26088), it's a 7660, with 6 eletrolytics for this part of the circuit. You can see 6 eletrolytics around the top left IC.

The schematic shows three 1uF and one 4,7 eletrolytics in the signal path (I missed one in my last comment :oops: ), and another 4,7uF eletrolytic in the bypass path. Including the voltage converter circuit, there are 11 eletrolytics. But the photo shows only 8 eletrolytics. So this Walrus circuit used something else for the caps, maybe changed the values and used ceramics. The two yellow ones may be tantalum, not ceramic, but still there's one cap missing. And there's "D6", which is named as a diode but masked as a eletrolytic and missing on this board. The schematic shows 3 pots and 3 ICs, which matches this photo. I won't count all the caps and resistors, but these facts are enough to me to believe it's a Klone, or something based in a Klon.

The two yellow ones may be tantalum, not ceramic, but still there's one cap missing.
I do not believe in Tantalums, I think these Caps ar Ceramics in modern design.
