Okay, so I've tried before, but just thought I'd ask again. Has anyone out ther in guitarland got any gunshots or schems for any of the majikbox pedals?? Such as detox eq, fuzz universe, rocket fuel, body blow, venom boost etc etc. Haven't seen any of these yet, and would love to know what's in there. They're too expensive for me to buy one to look into, but if they look traceable I may save and save and eventually get one to trace. My particular interest is the fuzz universe. But I'm interested in the others too. Cheers.

Fuzz Universe is a simple combination of Tube Screamer with symmetric red LED clipping and MXR MicroAmp! You may have to change a few component values...

Traced it from gut shots, it's based on the layouts from GGG.

Based on the schematic from GGG, you have to change the following components:
http://www.generalguitargadgets.com/pdf ... a841b3e85a

R7 20k
R11 200
C3 150n
C9 150n
OP is OPA2604AP (Burr-Brown), symmetric red LED clipping

Booster, based on http://www.generalguitargadgets.com/pdf ... a841b3e85a
Change:

R4 5.6k
R9 1k
OP TL071CP

Have fun!

There was a review in the German magazine "Gitarre&Bass" some time ago with high res gut shots.
I'll not publish the guts here, since they are copyright protected I guess. But if you are interested, PM me...

If both sections activated, then the Boost section feeds the Screamer section.
Am I right?

Consider this message your PM.

Copyrights on guts in general is the biggest misunderstanding of the concept of copyrights I have ever read.

But he's not talking about "copyright on guts". It's about photographs taken by someone and published in a mag. I doubt that IP is open/CC/some other form of copyleft.

The gut shot is a photo taken and published by the magazine, so I do not have the permission to post here...

I'd really like to see a schematic for this one.

I could only find one gutshot of this two sided board:
