If you used/built a standard crybaby wah (without input or output buffers) and plugged your guitar into the out and your amp into the in you would get the "gull tone". Happy accidents.

um .... how would link in a 3PDT for sounds of gulls?

You could just use a DPDT to switch input and output:

1 2
3 4
5 6

Input jack to 2 and 5, output jack to 1and 6 , circuit input to 4, circuit output to 3.
You could use the third pole of a 3PDT to switch a bicolour LED between colours for gull/wah indication.
