I can respect his concern for performance anxieties but mleah... get over it. Cool too see someone manufacturing a decent looking aftermarket hardware "modification"

Like a wah pedal isn't big enough already!
Couldn't you just adjust the original switch up a little to account for "felt wear"?

Wah switches are a pain... but as soon as you switch it on you need to be in a position to control the pedal.
Having to jump from a switch to the pedal - no thanks... plus you could just use a bypass loop if you wanted to do that.
