Way Huge - Swollen Pickle MKii
I got one of the Way Huge Swollen Pickle MKii reissues recently. I like it, but I feel that it has far too much bass and could also use a bit more gain. Does anyone know what mods could be done to remedy these things? Any recommendations?

I'm pretty sure all big muff mods apply to this.
What is the input cap? Make it 0.1 uf.
Gain means different things to different people.

The tone control is pretty expressive, and if you fiddle with that, the scoop control, and the internal mids trimpot, I'd think you should be able to get something usable out of it. You might also find sweeping the other internal trimmer towards more LED clipping might also help by granting a bit more headroom.
Reducing the input cap is also a good place to try if you want less bass though.

This isn't a mod to improve the tone, but a mod to improve the footswitching, basically it involves tack-soldering a 100nF cap across the footswitch itself, this reduces,or eliminates the random-ness of the footswitching due to contact-bounce, have a look in the workbench section for the thread I started about fixing one of these Swollen Pickles......
