thanks for the link sinner. just had the chance for a proper look.
am actually impressed. no mere pedal decorator but a proper artist with her own thing going on. imo.
get the feeling she may draw some influence from scharf’s customised ‘things’( http://kennyscharf.com/customized/ ), basquiat’s paintings (of which i’m a big fan) and the palette and mood of the 1970s new york hip hop art scene in general. but there are also rhythms in there that remind me of mondrian and colours and textures pollock would have been proud of. perhaps shades of miro and hudertwasser too. she's a rich mix wherever she draws her inspiration from.
tbh i prefer her work to zvex' pedals. i think his pedals are just ok once you get past the noise novelty value. or rip offs of good ones (eg, octane). but all good exposure for her, so worth doing i suppose.
she is indeed a dude. good luck to her.
