Also, for my bass needs.......

Another Fuzz face with two AC151's. Basically the same as the Dream Buzz (schematic can be found on DIYstompboxes but now with the BIAS pot on the outside. This BIAS pot changes the collector voltage from -9V to -5.5V.

The pedal though has a HUGE error! The polarity on the outside of the pedal states that it is center negative, the circuit states different. I tried with a normal 'center negative' adapter which led to no LED or effect. When I traced it I tried it with a 'center positive' adapter which works perfectly......

Dunno if the transistors are damaged. I think all the players before me tried just once.........

just checked the thread over at DIYSB, wow, has it really been 8 years :-)
really nice sounding btw, built mine with AC151 back in the day. needs to be fed with passive basses, though.
