Joyo - JF-35 Pocket Metal
Dear ForumFolk,
Please find attached internal pictures of Joyo's JF35 Pocket Metal.
The SMD pars are very small, perhaps 4 or 5 mm by 2mm.
I don't have the dexterity to modify this, I don't think.
The diodes are clearly silicon. There are three TI 4558 op amps in there. This combined with a metal housing gives the same amount of self-noise as a Metal Zone.
I find this pedal to be a pleasing tone - it's very cheap, and it sounds great for the price if you want to do some Ride the LIghting/Justice for All riffage.

Boring old gutshot.
I've not had any notions as to which pedal this is cloning.
It's got 3 x 4558 op amps.
It appears to have one diode in the power section, and only 2 diodes as part of the main circuit.
There's are a reasonable amount of cops and resistors, which tell me that there is something going on shaping the frequency response between the op amp stages before hitting possibly a final clipping stage (the diodes).
Anyone else got one of these?
