I need more pictures of the wiring, can you do them for me?
I see no values on the sliders, they may be on the other side of the body. If you can unscrew them and take few pictures - that would be great
I got the main board drawn (layout), and partial schematic done, I need the picts/info above to finish it up

I've got some OPA2134PA burr brown op amps here and I was going to replace the originals
as they did distort a bit with the boost up full so ill be changing these aslo

Is the big hybrid thing !

The "big thing" that appears in the previous images is nothing else than a 0.27uF polyester capacitor...HoggYBhoY wrote:Yeh I might have to buy that just incase the broken bit

And not easily replaceable if it is that part
That is broken , I was gonna buy that broken
One on eBay for parts incase I needed it
Some one else has bid on it already GRRR!

Repair advice:
Remove TR801, IC801 and IC802.
Replace TR801 with a new one (can be any japanese small-signal NPN-transistor)
Replace IC801 and IC802 with a new one and your unit should work again (If you don´t have a 1458 at hand, then use a 4558 instead).

Well i have 2 burr brown OPA2134PA op amps here
Which I was planning to put in the pedal anyway as the current
Op amps can distort a bit with the boost up full
I've got a few spare bc109b transistors here would these
Be a suitable replacement if so what hfe values would I need ?

funny hearsayHoggYBhoY wrote: Which I was planning to put in the pedal anyway as the current op amps can distort a bit with the boost up full
Hfe doesn´t matter but the pinout is different so you must "adjust" the pins properly.HoggYBhoY wrote: I've got a few spare bc109b transistors here would these be a suitable replacement if so what hfe values would I need ?

Yeh that's cool I know the pin out I used them in my
Wah pedal. Right if hfe doesn't matter I could use any npn
Tranny ? So I was wondering , Why would they have used that specific part ?
Sorry if that's a stupid question

Promised schematic
Just the component names but should be enough
It's late, I'm going to bed. I will update the schemo with values sometimes around the weekend

Don't worry about that component since isn't any sort of hybrid or "obscure" custom part...it's nothing more and nothing else that an inexpensive capacitor...HoggYBhoY wrote: One of the guys had said it was a hybrid
