Bros / Sound City - Phase Shifter

OK, I got this pedal for free when I got an old Nobels practice amp on ebay

Outside says Bros; I can't find that much information on the unit. The box it came in (owner said it was the original box) was from Westfalia Technica. On the inside it is shown to be a Sound City phase shifter; pictures confirm this, the units are alike.

The phaser is pretty different from the others I own. On the lowest depth settings it is a very subtle phaser; with the depth to the max it is more an auto-wah kind of effect with a very vocal phase shift. Very study box!!

The enclosure suggests later (early 80s?) Locobox (Japan) OEM build. I have a three knob "AGM" branded Chorus in the same enclosure, available under numerous other names including BIAS. Same circuitry and similar enclosures as early Guyatone Box series, Coron, etc etc. All are worthy pedals I believe.

I accidentally found that out when I was doing a schematic search for a Locobox overdrive unit I got in for repair; it was the same as my Laser Overdrive unit (same enclosure as the Bros)

Nice pedals!
