This is the first time I've seen a pedal that will likely sell for a ton of money, and *not* thought "What a total moron."

The only thing that bothers me about that auction is that he's still putting that stupid goop on the board. It's totally pointless to ruin the board with that gunk now!

Mwahahahaha!!!

Still, it is nice that he's helping his friend.

Wow. that's very cool of Bill. The seller is in Somerville, MA - where I am. If I had more disposible income (a rarity in the current economy), I'd be tempted...

The sentiment is certainly nice... but I have to wonder about someone who sold a pedal for years before deciding that the artwork was "flawed" and no longer fit for sale....
Nice for all the people who bought one as well now that he's publicly canning his own artwork on those models.

I seriously doubt anyone will be chucking their Klon in the trash because the guy decided there was room for improvement in the artwork.

I'm sure they won't Brad, but as a pedal that commands huge price premiums which can be affected by the model and housing... it could certainly affect the value.
That's the point I was making.

Sorry, I got the wrong end of the stick. there are a lot of 14-15 year olds pushing baby buggies where we live and I was referring to that situation.

I 'm so sorry Selectortone, my wife had breast cancer in 1994 but luckily she was OK, although she takes low dose Chemo for life for a bone marrow disease

uncleboko: No problem. My wife had a shitload of chemo and radiotherapy. Not fun. I wish you and your family good health.
