I hate to say it but this schematic is incomplete. The post BBD filtering is missing and from there onwards the circuit around the tone control as well as the mixing with the dry signal. I guess Clay drew up a 2nd page.

Maybe someone has the schem of the SCH-Z, so changing a few components turns one into the other
