Hi,

Bought a dead one for cheap to have some parts to refresh some working ones. The pedal is some Dynacomp clone, and I've got one working nicely over here, so I left it apart.

Finally decided to have a closer look at it and traced it ( thanks to snmavronis for his schem  ).

It's quickly drafted, but it's enough for debugging purpose. I've numbered the extra components in the signal path, and left the flip-flop part un-numbered...

Plenty of guts can be found on the internet. Here's a link to a pdf file with components values and pot layout..

The unit uses a National Semi LM3080N.

Now off to the debugging section to have the pedal working again!

Well who would have thought it? Yet another Dynacomp with a tone control!

The guys at Guyatone must have thought that it was "brilliant"!

Joking apart, the bias network is set at half Vcc, while the dynacomp sets it at around 3V... What could it change soundwise, and/or is it good practice with this OTA?
