I'm trying to make a pcb on Eagle for this pedal and I can't find the footprint for the transformer.
Does anybody have this ?

You can get transformer's footprint from it's datasheet which is easily googlable.

Do you know if a 7660s charge pump will work or does it have to be the expensive lt1054?

I thought the second switch just changes the pot but then they say "level high" and "level low", so maybe the switch simultaneously flips the gain as on the single version (which would make a lot of sense to have to volume pots, as the it gets way louder).

It does change the gain and swaps between the two volume pots at the same time. The value can be either 25 or 100k - probably won’t make much difference. I made one, but can’t remember what I put in it. Most likely the same as the 24v version as I prefer it over the 9v.

due to the LC filter that the volume pot and the transformer create, there will probably be a difference in brightness/treble response. True - I went a bit nuts and added a very light lowpass filter on the outputs. I've also removed the 33k resistor sitting across the legs of the transformer, as this also creates another filter with the transformer (which is probably covered earlier in this thread). I was having issues with loss of low frequencies, likely due to the fact that I was not using the same transformer. Either way, removing the 33k was helpful. It always confuses me when pot tapers are labeled with letters since the standards differ.
Am I correct assuming 250k Log, 10k Log, 25k Lin? Just seems odd to me to have a linear level control, but maybe I'm missing something else.

Hello all, just posted my video on the Hudson Broadcast dual version.
Quick couple things;
- I pulled out the Ge transistor, marked "2N404A" but likely a rebadge by NTE.
- hFE on the germ was 216, so much higher than what's usually recommended for this circuit (IMO, not going to be a huge difference either way)
- dual output volume pots are 250KB, not 25KB as is stated on the pedalPCB build sheet for their duocast.

Im a beginner when it comes to electronics.
Got both a single and a dual Hudson broadcast. Both built on veroboard.
The single sounds much fuller, the dual sounds flatter in transient response and less bass, which makes me wonder what's actually changed on the dual from the original. Ive heard the pretty much same conclusion stated in a comparison video on youtube, that the dual "has more mids".
Has anyone traced a dual and made a schematic? Ive only seen schematics of the single.
Is it confirmed that the single version has 25k vol and the dual has 250k vol pots?
Could this affect the tone in the way i mentioned?
Could the tone difference be from the way the dual vol pots are placed in parallel? Affects output impedance?
Also noticed that i get a bit more full sound when im on the low gain channel of the dual, and max out the high gain vol pot, compared to having it at min.

Single: 25k
Single 24V: 100k
Dual: 2x 250k

After emailing Hudson, he claims that the single pedals uses 100k volumes, and the dual has 2x250k. Which makes sense as 250k in parallel comes as close as you can to 100k.
Opened my single broadcast and its 100k, not 25k!...But EVERY schematic online claims vol 25k, so somebody made a mistake, which was copied???
