Here's the schematic of an octaver pedal that I wanted to build for a friend a year ago.
I never really had time to do a stripboard layout for it so it's still a work in progress.

Just wanted to show you guys what I came up with and maybe get some feedback concerning the schematic.

First stage is an input buffer followed from the second stage which is something like an active BMP tonestack.
The 3rd stage is a softclipping circuit which I found on AMZ's site: http://www.muzique.com/schem/louis.gif
After that the signal is splitted into an octave up transformer circuit and an octave down circuit just like in the Earthquaker Devices Bit Commander.
The pots allowe to mix each effect together in cooperation with the output buffer.

A voltage doubler is recommended for the clipping stage but it will also help the output buffer to avoid distortion.

What do you guys think?
