Apparently circuit protection is not something I'm good at. I've been trying to understand which direction a zener would be installed in Joe Davisson's Obsidian to prevent frying another BS250. Between the P-Channel devices and the negative ground drawing, I'm very confused.

To help myself along, I modified the schematic by moving the ground to +9v and the -9v to ground. The zener is in purple, and my assumption is that it should be installed with the cathode on the +9v side. Am I on the right path here?
