it the best OD pedal I like as I still recall kicking it infront of my amp for more hair... I sold it unfortunately due to a desire for other pedal which failed in my list .... anyway I was thinking if I could wire up an original Cmatmod Butah circuit ?

any build thread or schematic? ;)

The Butah is just a Marshall BluesBreaker version 1 with maybe a few mods. Nothing special from what I can tell.

Hi.

Found a gut shot of this pedal and drew a schematic. Should be correct.
Blues Breaker clone, a of mix between of two (earlier and newer) bluesbreaker schematics.
Sounds pretty nice (if you can judge that from youtube videos...), gotta draw a vero layout.

Hi.

After more precise checking I found that the 10nf cap in the feedback loop r-c configuration should not go to the ground but to vref. It works both ways tho and there is probably no difference in sound no matter which way you connect it, but just to be exact. This should be the verified Butah schematic.

And third time tells the truth... All pots are linear in the BUTAH, now corrected in to the schematic.
