I've built one of these, however i'm not satisfied that the buffered signal is as loud as it could be compared to the clean signal.
Is this just an effect of buffering?
If anything the bass disappears and it gets TOO bright.

Other mods I did were to include 250K MN pot. I had to put it before the returns which may have lowered the input impedance to the next level. I couldn't put it after as this caused a switch-like operation as the channels are linked there.

But whilst i didn't really test this when i used the original 25k pot, I think the volume drop has always been there. Aside from just trying to tune in a boost, or just starting again with Jfets, is there anything I could do to rectify this?

Is it because the impedance has been lowered by the 250k pots, thus changing the cutoff of the 220n caps? Should I just use 1uF caps for example?
