rockett88 was kind enough to post a schematic of this nice sounding Jfet buffered germanium boost so i redrew it a little clearer:
i drew up a pcb for it, etched and tested it and it sounds great:
i also drew up another one to have the bias trimpot externally so you could adjust the amount of overdrive and this one has board mounted pots.

What type of Germanium transistor is applied?

I have gut shots of the super phat phuk if anyone wants to see, I got rid of it so I only have good shots of the top of the board but most components are labeled with the silk screen and it appears to be very similar. I know there's some pretty clever people in here who could probably make some educated guesses

go for it. i'ld be happy to work on a trace for it. it's going to be damn near impossible without a pick of the bottom though.

i have a feeling that the suppa uses a Jfet opamp instead of the J201 buffer.

black PCB will make it impossible I'm sure, you can't see the slightest hint of a trace even
