Let's try to trace this
This pedal came on a mini mini bomb, which was based on a single JFET transistor
The mini bomb schemaешс is presented below

Inside the pedal there are 3 transistors, one in conjunction with a diode (similar to SHO)
As well 2 transistors in a pair (something similar to mu-amp)
In the Ruby Red & Kilt pedals, a new booster is also being used (which is similar to the components with the Prestige stuffing).
JHS describes this as a 2-stage booster.

Nah. Prestige is a clone of Tim Escobedo's Duende jfet boost (not a mosfet version).

Perhaps you are confusing this with the previous version of the booster, which was called Mini Bomb
In the upper left corner are in the element one this is exactly a transistor, and the second is similar to a diode (although this can also be a transistor).
In the middle of the pedal, the diode resistor and the transistor are responsible for turning on the LED.

It won't. You'll end up with a FET that's not working at all and you'll have something like 7,5V DC at the output.

It needs to be like this:

I've done something similar, but with a round solder lug on the end of the wire and a tiny bit of aluminum milled away from the top of the screw hole, so when the enclosure is closed the lug is securely sandwiched between the enclosure and the lid and secured by the screw. Works just fine, especially when the jacks are insulated from the enclosure.
