Thanks to all above who worded pretty much what I meant. Multiple times the question came up for tech details instead of links to some board pics but were ignored completely. That made me wonder about the intention of the thread a little. When someone comes up with something great the first question that comes up is "OK, what's new or what old thing got a fresh polish (both ok)"? That's one of the basic drives behind FS.org. Just mentioning there's something new and fantastic is more of the HC or gearpage style.

he's using all of them but you don't see it in that photo

Lyles a great guy and builds some quality stuff. I'm sure he'd "point you in the right direction" if you wanted to ask about building a DIY version of the Triad. He might not "cough up the schematic", but at least get you a good start.

I wouldn't think about trying to build the Triad, I respect him too much. I was just curious to know if there was something similar to it. The one I have I got from Lyle, he's lending it to me for my bands recording session and gigs this summer. He's a swell cat.

so if I wanted to build the SDD3K's preamp into a box to run after my delay to push my amp ------hmmmmmmmmmm

I might be able to reverse the boards, but the component values are not clear.

BUMPING this old thread!!

Sparky_8 and I exchanged emails; he has a Triad and hoped to send me some pix so I can complete a trace of the unit.

unfortuantely, I never received the pix as Sparky became a father and life got hectic, which I can completely understand.

So, calling ALL Triad owners or repairers with Triads sat on the bench. Any chance of some detailled images so we can try and reverse this puppy!!
