Hello
I'm new to this site. I've just finished my second build (or at least almost finished), The Screamer, a TS clone.

I have no output when engaged. I had some issues soldering R1, R3 and R4 in terms of solder bridges. How do I determine if R1 and R3 have connection or if there's a bridge?

I'm using a multimeter to probe and starting from the output side I get a 0 reading at 'out', but I get a reading of 2.34V from C10 (+). I'm writing (+) because I'm measuring on the + lug of the capacitor, but I'm actually not sure if it's supposed to be like that, because the (-) lug of C10 is going to 'out', and I just expected that a signal was supposed to go that way!

So am I right to assume that the issue is located between C10 and the 'out', or could it be elsewhere?

In advance thanks
Erik

Hi Erik,

I can't see your pics (because of photobucket 3rd party issue)?

Are you measuring DC or AC voltage (DC i think)? If it's DC, then it seems fairly normal

Your pedal is silent, so you'd better try and seek where your signal gets lost. Build yourself an audioprobe, plug in some signal (generator, cd or mp3, strum your guitar...) and trace it through the circuit... Maybe it doesn't even reach your effect board due to bad wiring?!

Let us know...
- Are you a mod or a rocker?
- Uh, no, I'm a mocker.

Sorry, wasn't aware of the photobucket thing, I have solved the issues in the mean time, it was a combination of bad soldering and something on the board touching the enclosure when installed.
