Hi, I have modded a few more modern wahs (an 80s v847 and a 90s gcb95) for true bypass and, when I came into possession of a Jen Mister Crybaby, I assumed it would be just as simple. I was wrong! Turning this from a wah/vol to just an on/off wah pedal has stretched my rudimentary troubleshooting/schematic reading skills beyond their limit and I'm completely lost.

Here is the schematic as found in this thread (thanks to apollomusicservice)

Can someone point out to me which parts of the switching circuits I need to bypass to get it to function as a wah only? Thank you

I think I may have worked it out. Comparing it to this standard crybaby schem:

I thought if I send the negative side of C4 (on the Mister CB schem) to ground, it would match up with the standard CB schem. Well it now activates and deactivates the wah function normally and sounds very nice aside from a slight popping at the extreme ends of the sweep. It sounds like a scratchy pot but if it needs replacing, I can manage that.
