The gain pot, voltage doubler and the dirt section tells alot.
its a Klon type.
it was an R10 value at 22K originaly. Klon has a 2K, so i guess its been badly copied !?

replaced by a jumper to increased GAIN. voila. this pedal now has enough gain to stand as a dirt pedal by itself.

I couldn't enhance the picture enough to get an idea about how the bass pot works. Any clues?

look at the Klon schematics. THe Pride of TExas is a Klon type circuit.
