idea for a new mod in the guvnor 2

hello everyone ,

i was made the c22 mod with a ceramic capacitor 220 pf (221) change the clipping with 2 1n4001 and one len red (stock), maybe i'll change these led to another 1n4001 (any sugestion? ) .

afret that i'm thinking to change 3 components in these pedal

c8 to 22uf (220n) (224) polyester capacitor

c13 to 22uf (220n) (224) polyester capacitor

c12 to 1uf (1000n) (105) polyester capacitor

is it a good idea?

What result do you intend to do? When you reduce c22 you probably had recovered some highs what is almost ok becouse the stock pedal sounds a little dark imho. Be carefull increasing the C8, C12 and C13 because they are in the direct signal path, if you want to use it as a low gain overdrive (almost clean) maybe you would find what you want, I'm 99% sure that increasing those caps will generate harsh and fuzzy tones at 25% of gain or more.
