Hey,

does anyone know where to get DPDT momentary footswitches with real soft touch(!)?
I got an Harley Benton FXL8 pro (Joyo PXL-Live) and the momentary switches are pretty clicky
on the bottom switching point as usual latch switches.

I couldn't find any soft touch DPDT momentary switches in Europe(prefered) or even worldwide.

The other problem is, i don't get the routing of the pcb where all 6 switches are printed on. There are all connected to each other in a kinda "random" way xD (for me) and there is only a 6 pole cable leading to the mainboard. So i don't know if its possible to rebuild any routing working with the usual single contact momentary soft touch switches with only 6 cables leadin into the mainboard(?) :hmmm:

Maybe anyone here could help me with the tracing or know where to get DPDT momentary soft touch(!) switches for exchange?

Not PCB mounted, not located in Europe, but the only DPDT momentary soft touch switches I could find.

Sure can, I use these switches a lot and they are available in the UK form rapid electronics. They are low force and momentary, they do have a click but very small compared to normal switches.

It's fairly straight forward, if you want to start it , press start. You can work out the rest of the controls for yourself !

No silicon heaven ? preposterous ! Where would all the calculators go ?

One thing I should also mention is that when replacing momentary DPDT footswitches make sure you put them in the correct way to match the ones you take out as unlike latching switches which work either way around momentary ones will not.
It's fairly straight forward, if you want to start it , press start. You can work out the rest of the controls for yourself !

Erm, I told you in the above thread where to get the soft touch momentary switches. Can't help you with the routing as the pictures are not good enough.

do you have a multimeter with a continuity function? if i were trying to decode the ribbon cable, i would make myself a table and fill in where they connect
