Look at the stinkfoot article, spells out clearly which component does what much simpler than RG. RG's article is very complete though, but no pictures

BTW:
Behringer Wahs are now only 33 EUR

And I would already be happy if the case is solid. They sell another one for the same price that doesn't have Behringer on them.

I bought one and took it back the same day(I own other behringer products so I'm not bashing them)then again I payed more like $50 at the time,if I could buy one for $29 I would be a lot looser with the mods.
I remember hating the bypass, you had to rock the pedal all the way back to activate and viceversa, sounded lame to me but what do i know;the case is plastic IIRC.

Those are the same chassis that sam ash uses on their wahs...theyre REALLY poor quality IMO. I worked at ash for a couple years, and every one of those wahs that I saw sell came back.

What's defective about the chassis? Do they fall apart?

Typically the tread comes off in the first few days, and after about the first month of use, the pins that hold the treadle in place break....also, its made of very thin metal.

ps...i just checked the sam ash website...even THEY thought it was so bad that they discontinued it....

heres a link to reviews.... http://reviews.harmony-central.com/revi ... h+Wah/10/1

Really? With physical defects? Broken axis, then?

They look to be the same ones used by Guitar Research from the picture...I may be mistaken though...if they ARE the same, I'd avoid them though...

I read the Harmony central stuff -- all about losing signal and fuzz and pot problems, not about the quality of the shell. Shipping from Smallbear is very expensive, Köln in Germany is only 250km from me.

In addition, you apparently get a free switch. These are poplulated shells that don't work. I think I'm going to order three.

Definitely report back on how they are...i hope ['m wrong, and they're not the GR ones.

BTW, one of the problems I mentioned earlier in the thread is that we had some returned because the treadle pins broke, so check them carefully when you get your shells.

Here is a picture of the PCB which is supported for free (without any warranty) together with the Wah. One guy had to repair 2 bad solder joints to make it run.

Wah pcb

It shall be a copy of the Dunlop-Wah and also be "found in the Wahman from Stagg (Carlsbro, Carvin...)"
