more than a problem say a curiosity ..... I have this amp Blues De Ville of'93 (USA). Excellent tool, nothing to do with the current Mexican reproduction, but i have a problem with the tone , probably for the previous owner who has massacred a duty:

i set the sound with the volume and tone of the guitar totally open get with the discrete amp settings with optimal range of frequencies in treble and middle , but when i go down with the volume of guitar, even slightly, the sound becomes quite dark losing most of the treeble ! could be the filter capacitors ..... perhaps to be renewed ???!!!???

this is the schematic for someone who wants to give me advice on any mod or integration ..... http://www.blueguitar.org/new/schem/fen ... eville.gif

PS: precisely that the amplifier has just been retube.so there's no problem with tubes ... or guitar. :hmmm:

I don't think it's your amp:

I've heard that a buffering amp may help too... Bajaman has an excellent one here.
