This is a circuit I've had from something I photo-copied 40-odd years ago. Basically, it's a Fuzz unit, but with a few bells & whistles .
I've mentioned it in the text, but the circuit uses an LM301, which needs an external capacitor for frequency compensation. I'm fairly sure that this device can be replaced with another op-amp NOT requiring this capacitor.

Yes - one for my Mellotron a 2 for musician friends of mine in Stafford, England. One is a self-trained guitarist and the other is a keyboard whizz!
