Hi guys, I have a dead mxr fullbore. It was working fine, but spent time at various buddy's places and is now totally dead. No LEDs, no sound with battery or dc. I suspect its been fried with AC, as there was an 18v AC adapter floating around at the time. Im no electrical engineer, is it fixable? Assuming its was the AC, which component would take the hit? Cheers, I'd appreciate any info. If we can't fix it, I'd gladly donate it

check if there is a fuse resistor or protection diode? test the component, check for any burn marks around components or the board.

I didn't find a schematic but I did find gut shots. It is all surface mount. It is probably repairable, but you would need somebody who can work surface mount. If it was the AC, then the power supply protection diode may be gone. If you are lucky that might be it. If you are not lucky then every IC may also be fried.
