Simple circuit but it sounds great. I did a board for one awhile back -

It’s not dissimilar from the Brown Source, and I do wonder if he may have started with this circuit on the breadboard when developing that one.

Here's Dan revisiting the circuit after almost 20 years (2011):

Looks like the R6-R9/C6 correction was done by hand on his scan of the article. (Fortunately that's the one I based mine on originally)

Yeah, he was the lead (or only) engineer of Lovetone and designed all their circuits. He started Dinosaural after leaving Lovetone and released the Tube Bender, OPA-101, and OTC-201. Dinosaural ceased operations for the most part in 2016, and since then he's been designing circuits for ThorpyFX (some updated versions of the Lovetones and other original designs). Last year he formally joined them full-time.
