It's amazing so little is known about this very early fuzz (1964!).
So far: It's the inspiration for Buzzaround (???) but 4 transistors.
Here is a link to an article about it

Cheers

Very little is known because none of these pedals have actually been discovered to have survived (yet!)

The "four semiconductors" described in the ad could be interpreted as 'three transistors and a diode', as on the Buzzaround.

According to a guy who worked at Advision in early 1966, a Harmonic Generator was used on this song:

Interesting so maybe it's just an old buzzaround kind of fuzz

This guy owns a GP Electronics guitar amp with a built-in fuzz/sustain which may or may not have evolved from the GP Harmonic Generator. You can hear the fuzz in the demo. He works on amps including this one, maybe he would be willing to sketch out the fuzz circuit?

This Guy is me!!

And the harmonic generator isn't the same circuit.

The Fuzz circuit in the Amp is based on 741 Op amps, actually the whole pre amp section of the amp is based on 741s!!! Ive spent 40 years trying to find out about the harmonic generators, I will get down to the workshop one day and see if Gerry still has the schematic, there was talk of making them, I said I want the first one!!
