People ask crazy prices for Germaniums sometimes.
For effects, unless you can get a bunch at once you have almost no chance of finding enough with useful gain... buying one, 2 or 3 is a waste of time and money.

I have a bunch of these. They're military-spec re-branded with the OC-44 name.

Hmmm...

Making anything more complex than a Rangemaster would be quite an an investment to say the least!

Sockets are definately the go for these. 8)
