I am rehousing a Danelectro french toast fuzz (Foxx TM) and added an led via switching ground off terminal 13 of the 4013 chip, works fine except the LED is flipped, when I turn off the effect the LED comes on. I suspect this comes down to the switch I used:

While I've used this switch in the past on other relay-based pedals, this one is obviously not working. On another Denelectro rehouse I did I used this switch:

That one worked fine but the circuit already had an LED built in. I'm wondering what the difference in these two switches is and which switch I need to make this current LED work properly. Thanks!

Why? The switches are electrically identical as far as the circuit is concerned.
Can we see a schematic so we might know what you're referring to? If the switching is the same as in this pedal, note that the LED is between Q (pin 13) and 9 V, not "switching ground", which I assume is ground. An alternative way to flip the LED's behavior is to use the handy inverted output, !Q (pin 12) and ground.

There's no published schematic for the french toast.
I was thinking there might be a difference in the switch operation since I followed the same instructions found in this thread, yet mine is porking backwards:

EDIT: Well, found my problem after looking again I got the wrong pin! Works fine now.
