Hi. Does anyone know the best way to test if a way inductor is dicky or not, I've built a simple wah on strip board using a verified layout, but don';t have any signal passing through it. I just wondered how other DIY builders check their indictors.
The sounds in my head don't match the sounds from my amp, I guess that's why I'm here...

Hi Paul,
Check with an ohmmeter to see if the winding Is open circuit.
However, the best way is to have a multimeter capable to measure inductances to confirm that your inductor have 500 mHy that is the usual value for a wha.
Cheers,
Jose
