Garagetone Tremolo Layout Traced
Garagetone Tremolo Layout Traced
Heres a trace drawing I made of this pedals layout. I'm not adept at drawing the layout in the electronic format like the way schematics are available here but this is the full trace of the pedal with values of the components.

The smd caps were measured in circuit. There are two zener diodes on top left corner, i didnt look up the symbol for it to use here. The battery negative lead connects to ground, forgot to draw that in there. Output Sleeve wire is to be grounded too.

Q1 & Q2 are PMBFJ175 [P-Channel JFET]
QM1 is a PNP switch
IC1 is 0728(B) eZ945, i guess thats a TL072 ic but couldnt find anything online with regards to its marking code.
Z101 & Z102 are marked B5 on them

Rest all Ive labelled.

The word is that this pedal is based on the Demeter Tremulator, going by the JHS vid on this pedal line of VS. This pedal has the sweetest sounding buffer Ive come across among the VS pedals. I have a few of other VS pedals as well but this one just makes the guitar sound better to me.

Anyways, this is my first crack at tracing a pedal circuit.
Mods kindly alter/delete this post/topic if I were to follow up a procedure before posting this that I'm not aware of.

The non inverting pins (3 & 5) of IC102 (LF353) are left open like that? Thanks for the trace by the way, looks interesting....

No, thats my mistake

LF353 Pin 3 connects to OPA2137 Pin 7
LF353 Pin 5 connects to LF353 Pin 1
OPA2137 Pin 5 connects to OPA2137 Pin 2

Those paths are missing in my trace

Do you still have the box open? Was trying to draw a true schematic but I'm a little confused on some parts. If possible, front and back of PCB would be very helpful if at all possible.
Z101 & Z102 could be either 1) a BAT54 Schottky diode (SOD123 package) or 2) a 3v0 Zener diode (SOT-23 package) depending on the type of package. Does it only have two pins? If so it's the latter, a 3v0 Zener diode (which is my guess based on where it is)
Thanks again for the trace!!

Z101 & Z102 are zeners, two legged smd form.

I'll post the pic of the pcb front and back.
(Ignore the brown wire on the tl072 IC1, its there to make up for a trace i accidentally cut while trying to cut through the chip legs while removing it  )

The back of the pcb isnt all that useful cause its very hard to see the traces through a pic but trust me I havent screwed those up in the drawing 8)
