Boss smd question

Hi, sorry if someone has posted this already, if they have then I am asking again. Do the markings on newer smd boss pedals allign with the older schematics? I don't have any as of now, but if I get (for example) a newer metal zone will c35 on that be the same as c35 on a through hole metal zone?
