Speaker Line Out Isolation Transformer question:

Does anybody know what Type/Spec ‘Isolation Transformer’ Suhr or Bradshaw uses for their Speaker Line Out Boxes? Correct resistances?

Want to attempt to make one.

I see these resistance specs options but don’t know what is needed:
— 600:600
— 10k:10k
— 10k:600 ?

— Xicon, Jenson, Edcor ?

Anybody have any ideas or knowledge on this?

Thanks for any help

The Suhr uses 10:10, and this would work for what you want.
Specs that matter, other than the ratio, are the frequency response and the amount of signal it can take before becoming badly distorted. I personally like the Edcor 10K:10K PC series 1/4w because they fulfill all these requirements well, with plenty of signal handling and a good frequency response. Jensen transformers are very good too, generally, though they tend to be a bit pricey. I would not recommend the cheap little Xicon transformers for this. They are deficient in all the necessary specs.
