I don't understand your post. The Surfybear is exactly that.
I built one of those kits. They are not available anymore.
IIRC someone has made a PCB of the SB on Reddit.
It's worth changing the way the Mixer works because it sucks tone like crazy, just like the original Fender units.
I read somewhere that the dry and wet signals can be worked into two separate pots but I can't find the post anymore and I don't know what else would be required.

I have the dry kill switch mod in my Surfybear kit but since I don't have a Boss LS2 it's not very useful. I'd like to have Independent volume controls for wet and dry. I know how to get the two signals from the PCB into separate pots, I don't know how to connect their output to the output jack. I suppose it's not as simple as connecting the wiper of the two pots to the tip of the output jack. Or is it?

OP used summing resistors from the two pots to avoid crosstalk. I think he used 100k but I think much less would also work. The active option in that thread is actually better because it allows to make the signal louder like with the Surfybear Metal.
