Hi everyone,

although I am already have a clone of the BOR, I wanted to build one without boost and I had created the pcb with the following wiring

https://ibb.co/bvcNQJm

Initially it didn't work then I looked at my clone's pcb and realized I had to reverse lugs 1 and 3 of the tone pot and it started working but with poor distortion, then I replaced Q1 with a 2N7000 and it worked fine, too if with slightly lower volume than my clone, but then the next day I don't know why but it suddenly stopped working, no sound!

After 1 day spent checking and reading online I decided to change the wiring and redid the pcb following another wiring, this one

https://effectslayouts.blogspot.com/201 ... 0551119301

which mirrors that of my clone.

Never worked, not once, everything is ok but it doesn't work and I don't even have the right voltages on the mosfets. I've read that there must be about 4.5v on the drains but I find this voltage only in Q3's drain.

I don't know where to hit my head anymore. I also tried following the signal with a small oscilloscope and the signal stops at the gate of Q1. There is nothing on the drain and source.

Any suggestions ? Thank you !

Edit:
I re-fluxed all the solders and now it works. Only problem, the volume is a bit low compared to that of my Weehbo clone and the voltage on the drain of Q1 is about 4v while on the Weehbo it is 5.8v
