The SM Pro Audio V-Machine now has a stereo audio input on mini-jack!

It can load VST plugins and VSTi instruments so it can be used as a virtual FX rack.
It becomes available here in Europe at the end of October 2008, price is 499 euros = $730.

I think it can be used on stage for modulating and delay types of FXs for guitar when a laptop is a bit too flimsy/unstable.
It probably needs a Midi controller to add knobs and stuff to it.
Put NI-Reaktor into it and some nice VST FXs and jam away...

(btw: I'm not from SM Pro Audio or something I thought perhaps this news to be interesting to FX loving guitarists)

great concept... wish i had the buckeroos. €499 is a well justified price for the features and flexibility that this thing offers.
In the interest of full disclosure, I am Animal Factory Amplification.
