TLDR: Here is the schematic for the Landtone Delay pedal. It is a Tonepad Rebote 2.5. I’m not sure you call it a clone if the original pedal is a DIY pedal.

This is my second trace here. I’m waiting for the paint to be finished on the first one I traced and built. It would be really nice if Landtone included the drawings with their pedals – but hey, cheap stuff from China, right?

I’ve physically traced the entire circuit.

I made sure to label the PT2399 U2. All delay chips should always be labeled U2.

I highlighted the differences between the Landtone and the Rebote in orange. There aren’t many, it’s pretty much an exact build.

I’m pretty sure this is the same circuit as is in the Joyo JF-08 Digital Distortion. They’re trying to identify these in this post, but the images of an actual pedal in this 2012 post are… surprisingly… gone. It’s only been 12 years…

The differences are:
C4 (223) was 273 (.027uF) in the Rebote.
C7 (47p) was 51p in the Rebote.
R9 (12k) was 15k in the Rebote, earmarked to use a 10k or even a 6.8k with a 5k trimpot to change the way the pedal repeats. AionFX uses a 5k with a 10k trimpot in their Vector pedal (similar circuit).
The Repeats pot (in series with R9) is B25k in the Rebote. The change to 10k is significant.
I’m suspect the reason for the changes in C4, C7, and the Repeats pot are because it is much easier to source 223 and 47p capacitors, as well as 10k potentiometers.
The change of R9 to 12k may or may not be because of the change in the pot from 25 to 10k.

They use RK097 style pots. Make sure you shrink-tube the center pin in these, I ran into issues with the center pin shorting to an outer pin when the pot spun on the distortion I just built. Also there is a pin that allows the pot to keep from turning, but their pre-drilled enclosure does not have a provision for these, so the pots won’t sit flush and they will spin if you don’t drill a slot for these retaining pins.

I probably won’t build this one right away, I’ve got both a Vector and an Elysium pedals to build first. And I’ve got sparkly new limited edition emerald green December 2024 125bs from LoveMySwitches to put them in.
When I do build it, I’ll probably put everything together except R9 and the Repeats pot and play with those values on a breadboard.
