Superfuzz circuit.... check!

Shin Ei PT-18 Phase Tone (or, Reslytone RT-18) circuit.... check!

Two relays for switching, looks like maybe Superfuzz first, Reslytone second. Caps on the relay coils for debouncing, standard affair.

Power supply looks different from what was in the Reslytone though, more along the lines of the Univibe. I haven't had time to figure out what voltage the Superfuzz circuit might be running at, if that's the case.
No matter how many times I cut it, it`s STILL too short!

EDIT: Found a great topic on a French website about it. Apparently, the Superfuzz circuits rail is run at the same voltage as the reslytone's, which is about 14v. There's a 1K resistor in series (on the Superfuzz board) that drops that a bit, to around 11.

My French is a little rudimentary, but I'd be interested in a link to that article...

What's the boards dimensions guys?

I have a spare moment, I'm happy to make full layout for it

Get me some more detailed pictures and I will do the schematic as well

The fuzz is 80x60mm and the Vibe 150x100mm.
All trannies are marked C828 8 4E which I'm pretty makes them 2SC828 with a BCE pinout.
As mentioned, the relays are for remote switching, fuzz into modulation and It's running at 14v. I'll take some more measurements later,( IIRC the fuzz might have been a bit lower, around 11v.)
I'll give you some more values and pics when I get home. :D

Note that the poster posts a correction to the schematic, but never updated it.

On the 3P6T rotary switch section, the lowest capacitor shown, should be 0.33uF, and not 0.47uF. I've double checked this against other Reslytone schematics, and it is so.

I opened the schematic up in Paint, and made the correction, for my own sake.

Got the fuzz part ready (layout-wise)

Now the uni

Replica layout will be handy to compare versions and possible circuit revisions as we did in Univibe tread

Thanks to everyone involved

I haven't spotted any component differences other than the transistor type, though I'll keep looking. Not sure I'll find anything, all the caps seem to match .
One thing I have noticed is that schematic shows the Honey version, which has slightly different switching and controls.
"Variation" is only 4 position on the Companion version and the fuzz and mood each have individual volume controls, not a dual gang. This is kind of cool as you can blend different amounts of each. I'm thinking that the two effects must be in parallel for this to be the case too.

Oh, I checked out those vibe trace differences Dirk noted. They're to replace the flying wire connections on the Companion with shorter jumpers on the Honey version.
This, along with the control revisions and dual board header mountings would suggest that the Companion is the earlier of the two models.

I'm back on it

I have few days off so I should finish it off

Question - the vibe board connector (PCI?) - what is the pin spacing? I won't use that buss myself, but I want to get it right for those who will
