Hi all,
This is my first time I have actually come up with something semi original and posted it. It is an LM 386 Drive that started out as a GES Boost Machine then I played with the inputs and decided to the a replica of the Lovepedal Purple Plexi 800 but I decided to do some more mods to make it more of something to my taste and now it is a very different sound now, in my ears anyway. Take a look. I have bread boarded it and later this week I will perf board it. Let me know what you think and please don't be too brutal. :blackeye

Ok I am a royal dumbass. I forgot to name the IC, the clipping diodes, the tone pot and out put resistor. :slap: Nice. Sorry I am a science teacher and just a little frazzled as of late. [smilie=a_makeitstop.gif] ANYWAY, here is the correct schematic of the Rush-Drive named for me not the band, sorry to those who thought that. Again please look and comment to help me out. Remember this is a first for me. Thanks and I apologize to all those who think I am an idiot from the previous schematic.[smilie=a_fro.gif]

I don`t understand the function of the second diode at +9V?

that is something i took straight from the lovepedal purple plexi. those two parrallel diodes are for polarity protection.

It´s an SMD-double diode connected in parallel - purpose is (only) for polarity protection.

thats was from the purple plexi thread. it doesn't affect the sound what so ever.
