Here is my latest design, a TBP-Looper:

A must for every hardcore-fuzzer for A/B-comparision and more.

Features:

* one or two true-bypass-loops
* auto-detection of loops in use
* LED-signalling can be prohibited for blind tests
* 0,5 mA current consumption resulting in a battery life of > 250 hours
* DC-jack

Didn´t have time to draw a schematic, therefore here are the guts for tracing:

enjoy,

There´s a sucker born every minute - and too many of them end up in the bootweak pedal biz.

So with this you have a pedal in each loop, and you are selecting between the two?

Only one on at a time ?

Thanks for the help,

I like how the looper looks on both the outside and on the inside, very neat.
I have two questions:

- When using patch cables with 90 degree jacks and plugging 3 of them into one side of the enclosure, two of the patch cables tend to stick out of the top because the jacks are close together. Stomping on the switch could result into stomping also on the patch cable jacks sticking out close by the footswitch. How could this be improved/solved? I guess either by not using patch cables with 90 degree jacks (duh) or having more space between them which will not fit the enclosure. Any thoughts on that?

- Not only do we get two effect loopers but also ground-loops that can be a cause of hum especially when hooking up multiple effects in a loop. How can we prevent this? Perhaps removing the ground connection from either Send or Return would help and using isolated jacks.

This is exactly what I am wanting to build. I use a Fuzz, and an octave fuzz. Neither one of them at the same time.

Is it possible to get a more straight on picture of the guts? Or maybe just tell me which lugs go where on the footswitch?

I'm not to worried about having the LED's.

All the help has been appreciated.

Travis

The yellow goes to the input, the blue goes to the output;

The oranges go to the SENDs, and the greys go to the RETURNs. The must be respective, I mean, For position 1 of the switch, the grey and orange cables must be the ones for a loop, not mixed.

I hate to bring the "bad" news to you. But what you are looking at is a reflection of the orange wire I think! He even polished the lugs to a mirror-like finish...

He sure builds clean!
